Moya Kalongo is a Barcelona group consisting of musicians from Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Uruguay and Catalonia, whose long musical careers include collaborations with artists such as Els Comediants, Sol Pico, Manu Chao, Jorge Drexler, Cheikh Lo, The Troba Kung Fu, the Barcelona Jazz Orchestra,Mala Rodriguez, amongst others. They all contribute their musical origins to create a unique repertoire of funk and afrobeat, pioneering with this mixture of styles in Spain.
