The female band Roba Estesa's debut, 'Descalces' (2016), was a great demand for gender reality in the panorama of Catalan music, which until then had not been shown on the stage. Their protest actions demand to break with the masculine and heteronormative patterns prevailing. This new album, 'Desglac', is the continuation of this fight. The group unites in all their songs the attack on dominant forces that freezes humanitarian action. The album was recorded at Bucbonera Studios with Tom?s Robisco and the mastering took place in London at Abbey Road Studios with Alex Wharton. |
