'Seven Colors' is the debut album by Catanian singer, composer and teacher Floriana Foti. In the sign of contemporary jazz, inlaid with hints of Mediterranean music, ethno jazz, world music and folk, 'Seven Colors' is an immersive journey, introspective in character, an album from which all Floriana's compositional, communicative and interpretative sensitivity emerges, as if it were a picture painted with various gradations of colours aimed at manifesting in words and notes changing sensations and moods. An imaginative sound fresco that exudes human warmth, an intimate portrait capable of vibrating the innermost chords of the soul. Accompanied by seven brilliant partners, the CD consists of nine tracks, of which three tracks are the offspring of Floriana's compositional fertility, six tracks are intense reinterpretations of famous songs from music history.
