Pioneers of 'world music' (when it was not yet called that...) and of cultural fusion, Embryo have done projects with musicians from the four continents, from Afghanistan to Japan, Latin America and Africa. This album, a special project produced by Chtistian Burchard for Materiali Sonori, involves many African musicians, especially the Yoruba Dun Dun Orchestra, and is the result of numerous trips and tours on the continent. Released on vinyl in 1987 and on CD in 1992, for many years out of print, it is now reissued.
