'Lux et Umbra' is the latest album of the talented Portuguese clarinetist Frederic Cardoso, a musician who has dedicated a lot of his activity to of Portuguese contemporary repertoire. This recording brings together a set of new music (composed in 2019) for different types of clarinet and electronics, by a group of young Portuguese composers dedicated to avant-garde electroacoustic music. The universe of contemporary creation by new young talents put into music by the interpretations of Frederic Cardoso, who masterfully records in this album an important legacy, from the present to the future.
