Carla Pires has one of the most beautiful, emotionally most penetrating voices in contemporary fado. She established herself as a fado singer in 2004, when she joined the Portuguese artistic agency and record label Ocarina Music. Twenty years later, she celebrates the milestone with the release of her fifth album VaiVem, a career-spanning album with seventeen songs.
