Da'angw - Chants des Iraqw

The Iraqw live in north-central Tanzania on a high plateau between Lake Manyara and Lake Eyasi. They number around half a million and speak a Cushitic language. Their neighbours speak completely different languages. These rare recordings were collected over several years as part of linguistic fieldwork led by Dr. Maarten Mous of the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
