Negro, Roberto - Newborn

The idea emerged to develop a larger orchestral project, with the Ensemble Intercontemporain as a partner. Roberto takes advantage not only of the colours inherent in the ensemble's highly 'contemporary' instrumentarium (two trumpets, a horn, flute and clarinet, double bass, cello, harp, vibraphone), but also the ability of each of the players to engage in the improvised gesture and participate in the development.
