Quartet n 1 "Thelktria", in 13 movements, by Attilio Pisarri, for guitar, viola, voice and cello. "Thelktria" - "magic things", "enchantment games" (Homer, Odyssey, I, 337) - indicates the power of fascination of the mythical tales sung by the bards, which the quartet is inspired by. "Thelktria" narrates and evokes the most important scenes and themes of the Odyssey, without the use of words, in a constant dialogue between the sounds of classicism and modernity, which takes place between rhythmic architectures, harmonic expanses and melodic interweavings without borders , like Odysseus' long journey."
