"Where do we go from here? This title by Kenny Wheeler has always obsessed Lois Le Van, it expresses one of the values of jazz that he finds essential: not repeating oneself, always moving forward. Until now, his unconscious solution has been to always create new groups, to surround his music with different musicians and instruments (Sextet, Quartet, Big Band, Trio). However, Vind is the first band with which he recorded a second album. With Sandrine and Paul, from the very beginning, they had a musical complicity that they developed over time, and he wants to see how far their trio can evolve without losing its essence.
