Desert Session, the musical collective born between Puglia and the Saharawi, a people of refugees living confined in the Algerian desert, presents 'Displays', a musical record that testifies the years of residencies and missions that musicians, volunteers and children shared between the Cape of Leuca and the refugee camps of Tindouf supporting projects of welcome and cooperation with children affected by disease and disability. 'Displays' is the result of the adventure experienced by musicians and children between travels and residencies with the composer Aali Mohammed and other Saharawi and contains old and new songs by Aali himself and Naym Alal. Songs that represent the identity of the people who live between precariousness and permanence and who seek the paths of their cultural regeneration.
