A journey through some of Shorter's early compositions, between the 1950s and 1970s, small distillates of creativity, proposed in a vocal version with arrangements by Sonia Schiavone, a jazz singer from Turin, together with original pieces on texts by Emily Dickinson, intended as a tribute to the poetics and philosophical vision of Wayne Shorter, a brilliant composer and leading figure in world contemporary jazz with a long career overflowing with ideas and success. As a professional musician, she co-operated for twenty years with numerous jazz musicians. She performed in numerous festivals ad seasons with her own eponymous projects. In the last twenty years, she has also actively and passionately focused on musical education.
