From minimalism to complex classical structures, the poet and musician Harold Budd has never ceased to evoke scenarios of remote beauty, building a highly personal space in which the cornerstones of ambient music have found expression. His fifty-year career has been marked by a continuous intermingling of sounds and dreams, crystallised in refined harmonic oscillations.The fetish for poetry reaches its zenith with 1996's 'Walk Into My Voice' (American Beat Poetry), a collaboration between Budd, Daniel Lentz and Jessica Karraker. The music is almost always fascinating, added with poems written by Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Michael McClure, Philip Lamantia, Diana Wakowski, Kenneth Patchen, Denise Levertov and Jessica Karraker.
