Zea + Oscar Jan Hoogland - Summing (LP)

Singer and guitarist Arnold de Boer, alias Zea, plays together with the highly explosive, improvising electric clavichord wizard and pianist Oscar Jan Hoogland. De Boer writes songs that are taken apart by Hoogland. The resulting free space is filled with improvisation and poetry. Oscar Jan Hoogland is coming from the Dutch improvised music scene, he is adding and opposing a unique sound to Zea?s songwriting which makes their music tense, erratic, bold and high-spirited.
