Unya - Unya (LP)

Unya is a Finnish indie-electro-hop band from Helsinki, Finland. This debut album is recorded in a wooden church in a small town in Southern Finland. Navigating between Nordic jazz, trip-hop and modern pop, songwriter and vocalist Hilkka Louhivuori?s songs are etherial soundscapes with world class vocals and intriguing rhythms. Unya?s self titled debut album gives new directions to the Nordic jazz scene with influences from internationally popular artists such as James Blake, Bon Iver and Bonobo but with Finnish lyrics.
