info

Trumpeter and composer Jun Miyake is a star in Japan but he is also known worldwide for his albums (13) that skillfully mix musical genres, for his work on film music, contemporary dance, TV commercials; he has collaborated with Wim Wenders, Oliver Stone,... and artists like, David Byrne, Grace Jones, and many others. Dairo Miyamoto was for a long time, until his death, Jun Miyake's saxophonist and an essential element of his music... At Dairo's request, Jun Miyake entrusted him with his compositions and helped him to produce this album, which will be the last one in which Dairo participated. A very beautiful tribute to this exceptional performer who shows all his talent both on saxophones and flutes and percussion, through these 12 tracks that he played during his career alongside Jun Miyake.
