Belle Image, La - Pachamama Cora

La Belle Image was created in 1996, out of a combination of admiration for both fanfare music and a passion for live street performance. La Belle Image are street artists, whose performances combine the power of brass with the sensuality of South American dances that are sometimes capable of inducing a state of trance. The artists are raised by live street music inspired by Latino roots, the lively brass-based ?bandas? of Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador and the exciting percussionists of the Caribbean. The repertoire presented on this album is taken essentially from the street show Pachamama Coronada, which was created in 2013 in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Francis Plisson.
