Nicolas Tumba, is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Nicolas Tumba, aka Coco Malabar, from Congo, clings to his guitar, hits percussions, flirts with the bass, writes and composes music that he himself calls afro-pop. He sings on seductive ballads carried by a very sharp voice and sensitivity stories in languages of Congo: Swahili, Tshiluba, Lingala and French. A fan of reggae, Fela and good old rock, he found a personal style, no hype, no wave. He was support act for Zap Mama, Arno, Youssou N'Dour, Jimmy Cliff, Baba Maal?
