DELETED - The Saz, which has been used by Asian, Anatolian and Balkan peoples, is a musical instrument that has expressed for thousands of years the musical culture of those peoples living in a large geographical area. Apart from its function to music, it has had both social and religious function in Anatolia. In the mystical world of the Avalites it is often referred to as the ?Stringed Koran?. On this cd we have gathered together the extant examples of various styles from various regions, on different members of the saz family played by the greatest masters.
