Following on from the international success of 2018?s album Siltane, Haitian singer Moonlight Benjamin returns with her new album Simido. Continuing where her previous album left off, Moonlight's thunderous and rebellious vocals reverberate throughout; underpinned by Matthis Pascaud?s blues driven, rock sensibilities. Simido is a product of two years of intensive touring, performing night after night, sharing music during the long journeys on the tour bus and bonding over a mutual love of Arctic Monkeys. Lyrically, the set revolves around Moonlight's hopes and fears for Haitian people who have endured so many challenges in recent times.
