Metsan Tapio - Uva

Ismo Oikarinen, who goes by the stage name Metsan Tapio, is an Oulu-based musician who is releasing his first album. The artist's music is proggy folk rock-pop from the wilds of Kainuu, which can also be called forest prog. Nature, important people and the values that have formed around them are strongly present in Oikarinen's lyrics. The stories of the songs are mostly set outdoors in nature. Oikarinen sings, plays guitars and harmonica on the album. Aapo-Matti Puhakka plays bass, wind instruments and percussion. Jussi Voutilainen on drums and Tommi Rahko on guitars. Some of the songs on the album include string arrangements. Ilkka Niemi on violin, Marjukka Manner on viola and Juho Kanervo on cello.
