?Dannate Danze? is the title of the latest studio work by the Double Cut quartet. A combo that for almost nine years has brought together the talents of saxophonist Massimiliano Milesi, double bassist Giulio Corini and percussionist Filippo Sala , under the guidance of Tino Tracanna. ?Dannate Danze? is Double Cut's third album, following the 2016 debut and 2018's Mappe. ?Dannate Danze? represents a bit of a synthesis of two approaches: it takes up the energy component of the first album, but combines it with the softer orientation of second one, juxtaposing almost rough tracks, rich in unusual harmonisations, with others that are almost esoteric, where the timbral research is more subtle.
