Rumbaristas - Malabares

Rumbaristas is the colourful Belgian-Spanish-French-Italian company around Catalan rumbero Willy Fuego (Amparanoia, La Kinky Beat,?), French-Sicilian trumpeter-keyboardist Thomas Morzewski and the rhythm section of bassist Tomas De Smet and drummer Roel Poriau (both of whom we also know from Think of One and La?s). Now their latest album Malabares is released in which the band further develops roots and influences from both Southern and Central European music. Their experimentation in becoming absolutely multilingual ensures that this album definitely deserves the label 'international rumba'. Versatile and innovative, in short 'mestizo new style'.
