Esszencia is a special band playing Hungarian music, its members are outstanding performers and musicians in the world of folk, jazz and classical music. They can not be compared to other bands playing traditional folk music, because they're mixing classical and jazz genres with unique folk motifs. As a true curiosity, the ensemble brings together the mix of these three different musical styles creating a totally new sound. They complement the authentic folk music of the different Carpathian nations, including some of Bach's or Bart?k's compositions, and spice it up with folk-based jazz, creating a special atmosphere.
