Afro-rock in the USA. These tracks were recorded in 2014 along Oumar Konate?s North America tour. The rocker blew everyone away with his power trio including Makan Camara on drums and calabash and Cheick Siriman Sissoko on bass and backup vocals. Their shows burned down the house. The lyrics range from anger at the corruption in Mali - to antiwar protest - to straight up blues begging his girl to not leave him while he is away.
