Saxophonist Francesco Bearzatti's new album is dedicated to a jazz legend with a restless and adventurous life: Sicilian-born clarinettist, saxophonist and pianist Tony Scott. Browsing through his biography, Bearzatti discovered that the great Antony Joseph Sciacca, known as Tony Scott, would be 100 years old on 17 June 2021. So he decided to pay tribute to him from clarinettist to clarinettist through his original compositions. Thus was born Portrait of Tony, the new recording project on Parco della Musica Records, a musical portrait of one of the greatest clarinettists in the history of jazz.
