“Keçe Kurdan” (Kurdish Girl) is an album consisting of Kurdish, Turkish folk songs and compositions. As a production it is a result of a one year work and has the contributions of important arrangers like Aykut Gürel, Serdar Ateser, Burhan Bayar and Kemal Sahir Gürel. The album is impressive because of the powerful and beautiful voice of Aynur and her vocal improvisations and the extraordinary arrangements. As Tülay German remarks: “Aynur’s voice carrying the misty mountains, exuberant rivers, the sun, the fragrant smell of soil, is impressive as nature”. |
