Einoa is a five-piece band performing songs set to Eino Leino's poems, crossing genres of folk, song and pop. The compositions are written by the band's soloist Elina Arlin. The band includes, besides Elina Arlin on vocals, guitar; Henna-Maija Vannemaa on accordion, backing vocals; Henri Mantyla on piano; Arto Nurmi on bass and Mikko Arlin on drums. It's not easy to balance so close to silence, but when you get the sound to work you have a magical whole. And Einoa, if anyone, has found the source of his own magic.
