Gianmaria Testa, born in 1958, is Italian, very Italian, he lived in the Langhe in Piedmont, but it took France to discover him. A lot has happened since he sent his recorded guitar and voice cassette to the Recanati Festival, winning first prize in 1993 and then again in 1994. 'Lampo' is his third album, now re-released as a re-masterd edition. More than 3,000 concerts in France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the United States and Portugal, four sold-out shows at the Olympia and a long list of tribute articles in major newspapers.
