The sucu-sucu originated on Isla de la Juventud, the largest island of the Republic of Cuba, which until 1978 was called Isla de Pinos. The sucu-sucu is a son-montuno/changuï oriented style, originated at the beginning of the 20th century: on this CD represented by two groups: the sextet Camaraco with singer Lidia Piñero and Trío Los Pineritos.
