Eoin Dillon was born to the pealing of Angelus bells on the 18th of February 1971. The son of an engineer and his wife. He attended school in Dublin where the headmaster anointed him an enigmatic. The enigma went busking and fell in with an outfit, traversing the world and other domains. Forced by the dictates of necessity to earn a crust he became an Officer of statistics. This he soon abandoned in favour of an eccentric and wandering life. A recognized virtuoso of the Uilleann Pipes, flutes and whistles, Eoin Dillon, co-founder of the historical group Kila, delivers here the third album under his name. It is undoubtedly the one that corresponds to him the most. Surrounded by distinguished musicians, Eoin brings new impetus to Irish music. His poems, linked to each of the titles, appear in the booklet. |
