This album by Kalasz Banda, Mate Kalasz his band, is inspired by personal experiences: the music of the violinist Micu, the music of the legendary Palatkai Banda and the violin legend Istvan Adam. Mate Kalasz plays with these traditions, freely, relying on his own fantasy, captivating.Folk music is a miracle that has always been in motion and remains in motion. That's why Kalasz does not like it when it's made up of irreconcilable facts and values. He would be glad if everyone could have the least influence without this miracle: free, trusting in his own fantasy. Anyone who knows him knows that he's starting to think about folk music with the word "believe". He believes we still do not really know our folk culture, but that's not necessarily a problem. However, we must strive to remain faithful to its unknown depths.
