Himla is a new Nordic collaboration between singer and songwriter Adine Fliid (DK/NO), cellist Oda Dyrnes (NO), and clarinetist Siri Iversen (DK). The Nordic trio's debut album 'Himla' offers a modern take on the Nordic pop/folk genre. The three musicians draw their primary inspiration from pop music, but add elements from folk, avant-garde and chamber music. The album contains ten songs that lean up against the classic singer/songwriter tradition, but also challenges it. Together the band?s acoustic compositions offer a new and different take on Nordic songwriting. |
