Ravao, Tao & Thomas Laurent - Au Bout du Petit Matin....

A new album by Tao Ravao, well known guitarist and singer from Madagascar, here playing with Thomas Laurent (harmonica). Evocation of blues, Malagasy folksongs, Cape Verde saudade, Brazilian forro, calypso from Trinidad and French creole. The artists empathy with their heritage is matched by the vocal/ instrumental virtuosity of the performers of this inspired tribute to the musics of the black diaspora.
