He is a unique case in the guitar world. At 18 he was a top level Jazz guitarist, then Flamenco took him, and he became a professional guitarist, ranging from the most traditional Flamenco to experimental Flamenco and different fusions and collaborations. This album reflects the path of this unique musician in the world of guitar, going from acoustic Jazz to flamenco guitar solos with deep roots, and more surprisingly playing Seguiriyas, Milongas and Grana?nas with a 12-string guitar, something never seen before. The work features collaborations with several important artists such as Jorge Pardo or the flamenco singers Rafael Jimenez "Falo", Antonio Porcuna "El Veneno", or Juan Farina, or the Modern Jazz electric guitarist Raoul Bjorkenheim. |
