This elegant traveller has decided to deepen his niche of crossbred songs, so he comes back with his ten new songs with syncopated rhythms of a Lusophone Africa this time. Lusophone Africa can be heard with rhythms borrowed from Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau or Angola. With lyrics always in French, the melancholy of the Morna never seems far away in his hoarse voice, the guitars are sometimes Cavaquinho and sometimes nervous to dance the Funana with the accordion and always the bass and the percussions invite to dance thanks to the syncopations of these intoxicating music. So, when the dance is in full swing, many choruses suddenly flood this album, plunging us definitively into the heritage of the Cape Verde of the 70s and 80s or the Guinea Bissau of Super Mama Djombo.
