Twelve years have passed since his last album, 'Flor y canela' (2007), and thirty since his first album, 'Poderio', released in 1989. 2019 is a very important event for Capullo De Jerez, as it is the 50th anniversary of his artistic debut. 'Mi Musica' is a flamenco album with nine tracks, six of them composed entirely by Miguel, based on bulerías, tangos, rumbas, fandangos and bulerías por solea. In addition to the traditional palms and flamenco guitars, the album contains a fresh air of modernity, through the occasional inclusion of trumpets, piano, drums and bass. All this without ever losing sight of Calle Cantarería in the Santiago neighbourhood, where Miguel's idol, Camarón de la Isla, used to go regularly. Precisely to him are dedicated bulerías that have the luxury collaboration of Alejandro Sanz.
