The musical mixture between cultures is something manuel Fernandez is passionate about. His dream is to mix several disciplines of music scenes. At present he directs the association Rincon del Arte y la M?sica de Badalona, and also the association of help to the Saharan people "Esabar Saharaui Badalona Cooperacion", where he meets the group of young Saharan people who inspire him to fuse Saharan music with flamenco. The bases of the album are recorded in Seville, under the guidance of Jos? Carlos Seco, brilliant pianist and flamenco producer. Then, the sessions of the record are moved to Barcelona: In the studio of The Pinker Tones the wind and string arrangements are written and recorded, as well as the Saharan choir. The mixing is also done by The Pinker Tones and the mastering is done by the veteran Dennis Blackham.
