With this album Dizu Plaatjies went in a new direction. The addition of maskandi guitar to the production mix has moved Dizu's music more squarely into the "world music" catagory. 13 wonderful tracks from afro beat to trans-ethno and all using on acoustic instruments.This album won the coveted SAMA Award for Best African Independent album in 2009.
