Maskineri plays traditional music from Central Jutland, just like the way grandpa used to, a firework of polkas, hopsas, mazurkas and waltzes. The music is from the old fiddles of Central Jutland, and the songs in the local dialect help to spice it all up! Two of Denmark's well respected young folk musicians Maja Kjaer, fiddle and words, and Soren Vinther Rogen, guitar. These two musicians are also known from bands as Fru Skagerak, Maja & David, Maja Kjaer Kvartet, Trolska Polska, Trio Svin and Kontoret. Traditional music doesn?t let people or time stand in its way. It is a timeless machinery that has a life of its own, and we are very happy about that fact.
