Son of Italian immigrants, born in France, he spent his childhood in the suburbs of Paris. He first became a guitarist but listening to music one Sunday at the Huma festival, drove Marc Perrone in love with the diatonic accordion, this was in 1970. This passion has never left him. Nothing that about this instrument is unknown to him. He played traditional dance music, bal folk, French folk, Occitan folk and film music. His first album was released in 1979 under the refined title of "Diatonic Accordions". From there, Marc Perrone has shared his music with many musicians who have all remained his friends, and now here's his latest album 'Babel-Gomme'. |
