As a young boy, Bosnian Metiljevic fell in love with the sound of the saz. He gets a broken saz of his neighbor, fixes it, and that?s where it all started. He plays for the radio, tours with Emina Zecaj and studies both Turkish and Bosnian saz. Only in the 1990s his craft of making his own sazes, introducing several personal innovations. Today, Metiljevic is considered not only one of the best saz players but also one of the most important makers and connoiseeurs of saz in Bosnia-Herczegovina.
