This project is about presenting a number of tunes from some old tunebooks written and collected by Soren Christensen & Niels Aage Andersen ? tunes which might have been the hits played on that times nightclubs. Clara Tesch, Mads Kjoller Henningsen and Julie Svejgaard are together and individual involved in some of the most forefront bands and projects on the Danish folk music scene (as Floating Sofa Quartet, Trolska Polska, Stundum, Lars Lilholt band, Vesselil). On this album are twenty out of the approximately three hundred dance tunes that Soren and Niels Aage collected. With a few exceptions performed as traditional Danish dance music?as they like to play it!
