For Massimo Giuntini 2020 begins with a new album and a musical journey that leads him to explore decidedly unusual sounds and atmospheres compared to past production. The lonely sunflower, this is the title of the latest work by the artist from Arezzo, a former member of the Modena City Ramblers and appreciated multi-instrumentalist. "This record - says Massimo Giuntini - sounds much more Irish, much more Celtic, compared to my other past works. Inside there are far fewer transversal pieces and more linear compositions. This time we tried to arrange everything following the Irish tradition literally. The "lone sunflower" represents the expectation of revenge by a minority that does not want to adapt and align with modern times".
