Startijenn (énergy? in Breton) creates a powerful, efficient and contemporary sound, drawing inspiration from its Breton roots. The band, composed of five musicians, fuses traditional instruments (bombarde, biniou, uillean-pipes and diatonic accordion) with a rhythmic section (bass and guitar) offering very lively Breton music through original compositions. After several studio albums, here is a live album recorded at the heart of fest-noz (traditional Breton celebration) & other festivals, celebrating the 20 years on stage.
