Scotland-Various Artists - Folk Songs Live From North-East Scotland (CD+DVD)

This limited-edition CD and DVD package was made to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Portsoy Folk Festival (The 10th Haal), Townhall concert Sunday June 2nd, 2019. It features the live performance of three groups who between them have championed traditional Scottish song for over half a century: The Gaugers, Shepheard Spiers & Watson, and The Spiers Family. All three groups are noted for their wonderful repertoire of traditional songs, and for their simple, effective accompaniments which never get in the way of the story. The CD and the DVD each have 20 tracks, but there's 2 on the CD which are not on the DVD, and 2 on the DVD which are not on the CD, so there's a total of 22 tracks between them.
