The album was recorded during a concert, just a few days before the lockdown, in Rome at the Auditorium Parco della Musica; it is also the first live recording in Nino Buonocore's 40-year career, retracing his entire production in a jazz key. Which in some ways has always characterised his compositions since his meeting with Chet Baker, the world-famous jazz icon called upon to collaborate in the making of Una Citt? Tra Le Mani, an album released in 1988. This project is not only intended to represent all the expressive freedom he has gained over many years of concerts, but also the peremptory affirmation of a concept of music that he has always defended and that today, thanks to the wonderful contribution of the musicians who have accompanied him, he can say he has finally achieved.
