Ru, Fatima - Esperanza

Fatima Ru is a smooth voice from which emerges at the same time tears and tenderness, risky melismas of clean and heartfelt caracoleos, alembic of rhythms, sensitive amalgam of poetic lyrics with melodies that she also invents and which on this occasion are interpreted with such mastery and sense by her companions Pedro Pedrosa Barquilla (guitar) and Raul Platz (double bass), and her guests Jorge Pardo (flute) and Manuel Machado (trumpet). Fatima is flamenco and it is from flamenco that she understands this alembic of rhythms, memories and inspirations that she creates in each new song.
