José Carbonell "Monty" was born in Madrid in the Cascorro neighbourhood and was raised on horseback between Granada and Madrid in the midst of two flamenco dynasties. Grandson of Montoyita and Farruco, son of Manuela de Farruco and José Montoyita and nephew of Enrique Morente. Monty, who calls himself a flamenco singer-songwriter, is presented on this album as a composer, producer, singer and musician. It is a work that, although it is not orthodox, is very fresh and flamenco in which he expresses his way of feeling. He worked with Enrique Morente, Dulce Pontes, El Cigala, Raimundo Amador, Chambao, Montse Cortés, Farruquito, Diego Amador, Juan Habichuela, Juan Carmona, Jorge Pardo, Potito, and many more.
