"O Turno da Noite" is the debut album of Tres Bairros, Guilherme Madeira (vocals), Ricardo Gama (Portuguese guitar) and Jo?o Correia (viola). They met in Santar?m, Guilherme and Jo?o as students and Ricardo as a music teacher at the local Conservatory. The passion for Portuguese music, with emphasis on fado, led them to start this project. They originally are from M?rtola, Sintra and Santar?m respectively, hence the name Tres Bairros, which is also the name of one of the most beautiful traditional fados. In two years, the trio consolidated its musical aesthetics, built a repertoire with traditional themes of fado and Portuguese music, as well as original songs that have performed in concerts in various halls of the country, before launching itself for the recording of a disc.
